Story Line
Jake Scully's life takes a sharp turn when he comes home to discover his girlfriend with another man, forcing him to find a new place to live. Struggling to make ends meet while juggling acting workshops and a role in a low-budget vampire movie, Jake stumbles upon an opportunity through a chance encounter with Sam Bouchard, a fellow actor. Sam needs someone to house-sit his lavish hillside home, and Jake is more than happy to oblige.
As part of the arrangement, Sam introduces Jake to a nightly spectacle—his alluring neighbor, a striking woman who dances provocatively by her window each evening. Jake becomes captivated by her and, in an effort to get closer, ends up recovering her stolen purse during a robbery. However, the chase reveals his deep-seated fear of enclosed spaces, as he's paralyzed by claustrophobia in a narrow tunnel.
Things take a dark turn when Jake witnesses what appears to be a brutal murder. The police are quick to point fingers, especially at Jake, whose voyeuristic tendencies make him an easy scapegoat. Suspicious of the convenient coincidences piling up, Jake begins to unravel a web of deception and danger on his own. With no help from the authorities, he must confront his fears, uncover the truth, and navigate a sinister plot that blurs the lines between reality and illusion.
